Talk about gorgeous sunsets. The icebergs in this lagoon eventually emptied out into the ocean through a small channel, where many of them would then be deposited on the black sand beach. I'm not sure what it was about this particular area, but it was one of the few spots on the southern coast that seemed to resist the temptation to be completely fogged or stratus'ed in all the time. That led to at least a couple gorgeous sunsets/sunrises, as this one was. I think this was taken sometime around midnight after a long day of shooting.
